Biography

​New Orleans-based Sculptor and Glass Artist Cole Harmon was first introduced to the medium as a student in 2019 and has been working glass professionally since 2022.  In addition to his independent art practice, he is involved in production work at RidgeWalker Glass, beginner and intermediate glass instruction at Tulane University, and assists artist Gene Koss with his large-scale, mixed media sculptures. A Saint Louis native and now New Orleans resident, the Mississippi River has been a constant presence in his life and is well-represented in his work. Themes present in the pieces are nature, self-reflection, spirituality, and philosophy, among others.
